Music from Australia and New Zealand in the year 1967: The Atlantics performing 'You Tell Me Why' March, 1967 on the ABC-TV program Something Else. You Tell Me Why is a song by American rock group The Beau Brummels, from the band's second album, The Beau Brummels, Volume 2. The song was written by guitarist Ron Elliott and produced by Sylvester Stewart, later known as Sly Stone. You Tell Me Why was released as the album's lead single, and peaked at number 38 on the Billboard Hot 100 in August 1965. The band revisited the song and included it on their 1975 eponymous album. The original version later appeared on the band's 1987 compilation. Покупка The Atlantics - You Tell Me Why - Sunshine Records 17 - 7, Single, RE - QK-1691, включает You Tell Me Why, Come On. Talk about The Atlantics - You Tell Me Why

I contact Jim regarding the repressing of this song
Here is what he said
"Well I contacted Warner Music and apparently it is a legal release.
They licensed the song out to Creative Vibes and it's available through JB Hi Fi,
so it's all above board. But that is only as a vinyl singles release
Jim Skiathitis
The Atlantics"
So it is a proper pressing from the original tapes
Be careful of a counterfeit pressing doing the rounds since 2013. It features a longer run out groove and no indentation that is present about 10mm from the centre hole. It is being passed off as an "authorized repressing" but if that were true, it would have a Festival label as by the time of the repressing Sunshine Records were defunct. Keep a look out!
